The positive development of Koelnmesse’s own events
and of the guest event business served by Koelnmesse
Ausstellungen GmbH were largely responsible for the
significant increase of the company’s turnover and the
huge improvement of its results by comparison with its
target figures.
Examples of the positive development of its own events
include dmexco, gamescom, imm cologne, INTERMOT
Cologne, EISENWARENMESSE – INTERNATIONAL
HARDWARE FAIR COLOGNE, ISM, Kind + Jugend and
ORGATEC. In addition, a majority of the Koelnmesse
events grew faster compared to the last time they were
held, in terms of all three key performance indicators for
the trade fair sector, than the average growth rate
calculated by the German trade fair association AUMA.
